Blended Models Activity
In groups of four match the blended learning model diagrams to the model name and descriptions. Share which model you like and why you like it for your own learning environment. In the workshop this is a paper-based activity.

Part 2: Listening to the Birds
Watch this 11 minute video about the Pelee Island Bird Observatory for an introduction to bird conservation and to learn what part listening to bird songs and calls plays in their work.

Mnemonics Activity
Read the mnemonic for the six birds in the chart below. Then listen to the six songs in the second chart. Match the song number in the second chart to the bird name and mnemonic in the first chart. In the workshop this is a paper-based activity.
